Bravo transom assemblies—also known as gimbal housings—connect the sterndrive to the boat and are critical for steering, sealing, trim operation, and structural support.

If you're dealing with corrosion, water intrusion, or major wear, replacing the complete assembly is often the most reliable solution.

Mercury SeaCore™ transom assemblies are designed to provide additional corrosion protection for boats operated in demanding saltwater environments. SeaCore assemblies use specialized protection such as XK360 low-copper aluminum alloy, the MercFusion paint system, stainless steel gimbal housing studs, stainless steel upper swivel shaft and other corrosion-resistant materials not found on standard assemblies.
