If you're an owner of a cruiser or heavier day boat, you'll appreciate the stern lift provided by these XR drives with contra-rotating, dual propellers. The extra blade area helps cut into the water and get the boat on plane quickly. Plus you'll definitely enjoy the extra grip when you put the boat into a turn. 

Generous blade area can also help hold a heavier boat on plane at low speeds with an efficient running angle. This can improve fuel efficiency when cruising and adds comfort and confidence in rough seas.

This dual prop drive is a natural behind the Mercury Racing 520 and other big-block or diesel engines with high torque. Some of the Mercruiser engines commonly used with a Bravo 3 XR include: 525 EFI, 520 EFI, 496 Mag HO.

The Bravo 3 XR is also compatible with a wide range of Mercruiser, Yanmar, Cummins, Steyr and other diesel engines. 

Mercury Racing Bravo 3 XR Drives are available in 1.65:1, 1.81:1 and 2.00:1 ratios. Gimbal housing, trim cylinders and props sold separately. 

The drives on this page are for standard Bravo transoms. ITS, which is the Mercury Racing Integrated Transom System, is available as an option. ITS simplifies installation and features integral power steering cylinders. Bravo 3 XR ITS drives are available here.

Mercury Racing also has a line of special Bravo 3 XR propellers. These props are precision-matched and come with a high polish (Pro-Finish).
