The Bravo 3 XR Sterndrive - Maximizing Efficiency & Performance The Bravo 3 XR Sterndrive - Maximizing Efficiency & Performance
If you're an owner of a cruiser or heavier day boat, you'll appreciate the stern lift provided by these XR drives with contra-rotating, dual propellers. The extra blade area helps cut into the water and get the boat on plane quickly. Plus you'll definitely enjoy the extra grip when you put the boat into a turn.
Generous blade area can also help hold a heavier boat on plane at low speeds with an efficient running angle. This can improve fuel efficiency when cruising and adds comfort and confidence in rough seas.
Other features include:
Improved cone clutch and shift engagement strategy.
Precision-shimmed net-forged, steel bevel gears for more strength and durability.
Reinforced ribbed top cap & steel chimney reliably secure bearings under high load.
Dual concentric propeller shafts
