What is 1st Mate? 

1st Mate is an award winning wearable monitoring device (fob) that pairs with your mobile device to give you and your family peace of mind when boating. Put one on your dog too!

How does 1st Mate work?

The captain (driver) wears a wrist fob

If the captain falls overboard then the 1st Mate system:

• Immediately stops the engines
• Sounds an audible alarm from both the hub and mobile device
• Marks the GPS location
• Sends alerts to the connected passengers with wearables onboard, sends alerts to the hub & app
• Sends instructions to passengers on how to return ot the location where the captain went overboard*

The passengers wear fobs

If a passenger falls overboard then the 1st Mate system:

• Alerts the captain and all other passengers wearing a fob
• Sounds an audible alarm from the hub and mobile device
• Marks the location via GPS
• Provides continuously updated directions to the location where the passenger went overboard
