Mercury Racing Outboards

Mercury Racing's "R Series"engines include the 250R and 300R V-8, the 300R HD V-8, the 400R the 400 ROS (Race Offshore), the Supercharged 450R V-8 along with the 60 EFI FormulaRace (tunnel race). 

Most of the Mercury Racing models are available with Sport Master gearcases as an option.

Sport Master gearcases offer heavy duty durability for boats that travel in excess of 85 mph. The Sport Master lower has low water pickup and a crescent leading-edge design that maximzes efficiency and speed.

For heavier boats you may want to look at the Torque Master gearcase. This gearcase is designed for heavier boats capable of hitting the 85 mph mark. The Torque Master gearcase features a heavy-duty 19 spline stainless steel propshaft.

For heavy duty offshore applications you may want to consider the 5.44" Offshore HD gearcase. This gearcase was designed by Mercury Racing for the toughest, most demanding offshore environments.

It provides extra lift for heavier boats with its larger 5.44" diameter torpedo. If you have a heavy center console, walkaround, pontoon or deckboat, consider the 5.44" gear case.
