For outboard engines. Can be mounted on the Port or Starboard side. This control features an ignition stop switch and lanyard stop switch only. 

This control is for manual start models and has a 20 ft. (6.1 m) harness. This control features a toggle switch for remote shut-off of the engine.

Fits current pull-style throttle, manual start Mercury/Mariner 6/25 HP, 30/40 HP (2 cylinder‑ U.S. origin), 40 (3 & 4 cylinder) to 45 HP, 8/9.9, 15/20 HP FourStroke models (1996 and newer), and Force 25 HP (3 cylinder).

For model year 2005 and newer 8/9.9 FourStroke Outboards: SAE throttle/shift cables must be used.

For 8/9.9 FourStroke engines generation change above serial number OR192772 and 15/20 FourStroke engines will use GEN 1 cables. 

GEN 1 cables must be used on other engines.
