Replaces all makes of 1996-2015 5.7L Gen+ marine engines using an 8-boltintake manifold with standard marine camshaft for 4600-5000 RPM range. Doesnot include provisions for a mechanical fuel pump.
Engine features: Cast iron block, nodular iron crankshaft, single-piece rear mainseal, roller camshaft, marine oil pan, high flow oil pump, harmonic balancer andCPS included. Quicksilver cast iron cylinder heads include: hardened seats,screw in studs, & Black-X valves.
Applications include:
1996-2015 5.7L Gen+ Carbureted or Throttle Body Fuel Injected EFI sterndriveand inboard engines
2001-2004 MCM (sterndrive) 350 Mag MPI engines (Serial # 0M300000 - 0W309999)
2001-2004 MIE (inboard) 350 Mag MPI engines (Serial # 0M300000 - 0W389999)

If the engine is equipped with an oil cooler, the oil cooler must be replaced in order to prevent the probability of a premature internal engine failure.
NOTE: If the cooler is not replaced, the longblock will not be eligible for factory warranty consideration. If an internal engine failure should occur that is eligible for warranty consideration, a copy of the invoice indicating the purchase of an original type OEM oil cooler is required.
