Certified Pre-Owned (CPO)

Mercury CPO (Certified , pre-owned) products are repaired and sold with a limited 1 year factory warranty. In most cases these are products that have been returned to Mercury under warranty. They are then repaired, inspected and certified as fit for sale.

CPO engines must pass a multi-point inspection process, be brought back to original functional specifications, and be functionally dyno-tested. CPO MerCruiser engines are not new. CPO engines will show some evidence of use: scratches, cosmetic corrosion, and any number of hours are possible. Corrosion on the flywheel, alternator, exhaust ports, water jackets and accessories are also possible.

CPO gearcases are a very good option for replacement lower units. These factory Certified Pre Owned gearcases go through a rigorous 11 point inspection by Mercury where they're prepped, primed and sealed before receiving heat-cured powder coat finish. All gearcases go through a stringnet inspection process and are fitted with new and core parts as needed so they'll give you years of dependable performance.

Every CPO MerCruiser sterndrive and inboard engine comes with a 1 Year Factory Limited Warranty.  CPO engines also qualify for up to 2 years of extended coverage through the Mercury Product Protection (MPP) program.  Please contact us with what you're looking for, as CPO product inventory changes daily depending on what the factory receives.
