100% New Content Quicksilver Engine features: cast iron block, large fillet radii crankshaft, Tri-metal bearings, 9.3:1 hypereutectic pistons, and 1.5:1 rocker arms. Quicksilver cylinder head features: hardened seats, screw in studs, Black-X valves & an exclusive Quicksilver combustion chamber allowing 4 deg BTDC base timing. Content includes harmonic balancer, oil pan, & valve cover. Compatible with front or side engine mounts. Pilot bore machined into crankshaft to accept dealer installedVolvo couplers. No provision for cylinder head mounted fuel injectors.

If engine is equipped with an oil cooler then the cooler MUST BE REPLACED in order to prevent the probability of a premature internal engine failure. If the cooler is not replaced, the longblock WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR WARRANTY CONSIDERATION.
