135 HP @ 4800 RPM. 181 cubic inch partially dressed marine engine. Replaces 2.5L, 3.0L and 3.0LX engines with a MerCruiser or Volvo Penta sterndrive.
Engine Features: Turn Key Start Carburetor with Mechanical Fuel Pump andFlame Arrestor.
Built with 100% new Quicksilver: cast iron block, large fillet radiicrankshaft, Tri-metal bearings, 9.3:1 hypereutectic pistons, revised TKS carburetorcalibration, and 1.5:1 rocker arms. Quicksilver cylinder heads feature: hardenedseats, screw in studs, Black-X valves & an exclusive Quicksilver combustionchamber allowing 4 deg BTDC base timing. Content includes harmonic balancer,thermostat housing with 140F degree thermostat, NGK spark plugs, marinedistributor, plug wires, exhaust elbow, sensors, audio warning horn for overheat, low oil pressure, and low drive lube levels.
This engineuses EST Analog Ignition and includes a shift bracket for shift interrupt, and 14-pin Harness. Compatible with front or sideengine mounts. Pilot bore machined into crankshaft to accept dealer installedVolvo couplers.
Runs on 87 Octane Fuel.
This all-new construction 3.0L crate engine is for all makes of inboard andsterndrive 3.0L marine carbureted engines built since 1990 & up. This enginerequires theinstallation of a 14" flywheel. A factory refurbished 14" flywheel8M0135884 is availableseparately.
