Replaces 1990 & up 3.0L Marine and non‑port fuel injected Industrial LMX engines. MerCruiser applications include: 1990‑1997 3.0L LX engines (Serial numbers 0C856599‑0K999999), also 1998 & Up 3.0L carb & MPI MerCruiser engines (serial numbers 0L010042 & up). Compatible with 1999 & newer Volvo marine engines. 

Engine Features: Cast iron block, large fillet radii crankshaft, Tri‑metal bearings, 9.3:1 pistons, & 1.5:1 rocker arms. Includes provision for crankshaft pilot bearing compatible with 1999 & newer Volvo engine couplers. Quicksilver cast iron cylinder heads include: hardened seats, screw in studs, Black‑X valves, & exclusive Quicksilver combustion chamber design resists knock. No provision for port‑mounted fuel injectors.
