Most current Mercury propellers require a propeller hub kit which are sold separately.  Use this guide to match your engine brand, horsepower, gearcase application, and Mercury propeller style to the correct Mercury Flo-Torq hub kit.  

The Flo-Torq II hub system is the world's first modular hub system for outboards and sterndrives. The Flo-Torq II is designed to sacrifice  its replaceable drive sleeve well below the failure threshold of most modern outdrives or gear cases with no special tools needed. A small investment could save you thousands - no matter what prop you're using.  Flo-Torq also allows the use of most Mercury propellers on stern drives & outboards from other manufacturers.

How to Select Your Mercury Propeller Hub Kit

Start with your engine, then narrow the selection by application details such as model year, shaft size, propeller pitch, or surface-piercing use. For many newer Mercury stainless steel propellers, Mercury's SSR hub-kit lineup is intended for quiet operation.

  • Warning: Interference may exist between Quicksilver stainless steel props and add-on OMC/Volvo Anode P/N 3852970.
