Replaces 3.0L Alpha sterndrive engine
Engine Features: Non-Power Steering. FrontEngine Mount. Turn Key Start (TKS) Carburetor with Mechanical Fuel Pump. Builtwith 100% new Quicksilver: cast iron block, large fillet radii crankshaft, Tri-metalbearings, 9.3:1 pistons, revised TKS carburetor calibration, 140F degreethermostat, NGK spark plugs, and 1.5:1 rocker arms. Quicksilver cast iron cylinderheads that feature: hardened seats, screw in studs, Black-X valves, & an exclusiveQuicksilver combustion chamber allowing 4 deg BTDC base timing. Audio warninghorn for overheat, low oil pressure, and low drive lube levels. It uses EST AnalogIgnition, Single-Point Water Drain Using Blue Hoses, and 14-Pin Harness. Includes Alpha coupler.
