Mercury-Mercruiser 8M0125845 Fuel Pump Cooler Kit Gen 2

Genuine Mercury MerCruiser Gen II Cool Fuel Pump and Cooler Kit with Drain.

Mercury part number 8M0125845 supersedes and replaces previous fuel pump and cooler kit 861156A04.

This complete replacement kit includes the electric fuel pump, fuel cooler and required installation hardware. It is designed for earlier MerCruiser MPI, EFI and TBI engines equipped with a Gen II Cool Fuel system.

The cooler has an integral water drain port and uses the original-style fuel-line connection, with a retaining bolt that runs parallel to the fuel line.

Fits:

• MerCruiser MPI, EFI and TBI models equipped with Gen II Cool Fuel
• Original engine serial number range: 0K999999 and lower

Use this kit when:

• The original-style fuel cooler is still installed
• The fuel line is secured by a bolt through the fuel-line flange
• The retaining bolt runs parallel to the fuel line

Do not use this kit when:

• The cooler has been replaced with the later cross-bolt-style connection
• The fuel line is retained by a screw running across the cooler outlet

If the engine has been converted to the cross-bolt-style cooler, use the current kit that supersedes 861156A02 instead.
