This all new construction crate engine is a service upgrade for carbureted V8 MerCruiser Bravo & Hi‑Performance sterndrive applications.
Specs: 450 HP @ 4600‑5000 RPM – Standard / Left‑Hand rotation. Brand New 540 cubic inch partially dressed marine engine assembly. Features include: New Quicksilver iron engine block, 800 cfm 4bbl Holley carburetor, single plane aluminum intake manifold with bronze water crossover and pads, mechanical fuel pump, 4340 steel crankshaft, forged steel rods, 4‑bolt main block, roller camshaft, Dart iron cylinder heads, 2.25" intake valve, 1.7:1 roller rocker arms, screw‑in rocker studs, stainless steel valves, 9.0:1 forged pistons, Thunderbolt V ignition with knock control, and 10‑pin harness.
Includes: distributor, flame arrestor, harmonic balancer, flywheel, oil pan, fuel pump mounted to sea water pump, wire harness, circulating water pump, NGK spark plugs, engine oil cooler, oil thermostat, fuel filter, dipstick, oil filter, coil, marine spark plug wires, and filled with Mercury Racing 25W50 oil.
1‑Year of Limited Factory Warranty. Runs on 87 Octane Fuel.
Not Included: Engine mounts, water hoses, exhaust manifolds, front dress, cooling system, bell housing, Power steering cooler, starter, alternator, coupler, or pulleys.
