This prior model year Mercury 5 HP outboard is a lightweight, portable
4-stroke tiller handle motor with a 15" short shaft. It is an ideal choice for small boats,
fishing boats, jon boats, inflatables, utility boats, and leisure use.
This Mercury 5MH FourStroke is extremely quiet and smokeless with steady idling. The
eco-friendly 4-stroke engine has a CARB 3-star, ultra-low emissions rating.
The decompression system and electronic CD ignition design help provide simple,
dependable starting. Single-stage over-rev protection and a low oil pressure warning
system offer additional reassurance. This engine features forward, neutral, and reverse
shifting with a 180-degree turning radius.
