This is used to service MerCruiser 496 Mag and 8.1L Horizon base enginesrated at 370 & 375 HP. This heavy duty iron block with splayed main bearing capsis for applications using a CPS (Crank Position Sensor) for model years 2001 & up.Unique to this 8.1L service engine is a priority main lubrication system for use withMerCruiser applications only.
