Bravo X drives are the standard for all Mercury diesel engines, but not just for diesel. The X drive features net forged upper gears with heavier floors along with heavier bearings, input yoke and u-joints. X drives are rated for 525 foot pounds of torque. All Mercruiser sterndrives are sold without the props, trim cylinders and gimbal.
