When you first place your order a pre-authorization is done by our payment gateway (Authorize.net) to verify that your credit card is valid and the funds to complete the sale are available. Your card company may notify you of this.
While this amount will reduce your available spending balance, the charge has not actually been posted to your account and will not appear on your statement nor will it incur finance charges.
Sometimes our payment gateway determines that there is an error in the address entered. In this case the order is not actually proccessed even thouhg there is a hold on the funds. Please double check that the billing address matches your credit card.
Once we actually receive and ship your order (or you agree to wait for a backorder) the transaction will be captured (completed) and the amount will be removed from hold and added to your account balance.
If your order is cancelled the hold will never be posted to the amount due on your account, however it make take a while for the hold to disappear. This is beyond our control and we have no way to cancel the hold.
